PROF. ANTONI KUKLIŃSKI PASSED AWAY

With great regret and sadness we received the news of the death of Prof. Antoni Kukliński, our longtime boss, colleague and friend.

He was an outstanding scholar, an innovator in science and inspirer of many international and national research projects.

In the the world science he will be remembered as the manager of the UN UNRISD program for regional development and the editor of broadly cited and influential series of books Regional Planning Publication Programme.

He was responsible for the governmental functions of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Scientiffic Research.

It is indeed a great loss for science.

The memory of him and how much we credit to him, will remain in our hearts.
