NEW POLISH ECP PUBLICATION

"Models and tools of territorial analysis" by Agnieszka Olechnicka, Katarzyna Wojnar, Dorota Celińska-Janowicz and Jakub Rok

The aim of publication is to present selected models and tools of territorial analysis developed by ESPON as an accessible, understandable and ready to use tool for Polish practitioners. Each chapter presents one of the tools and models developed or improved within the framework of the ESPON 2013 Programme. Tools and models are illustrated with specific examples of use with interpretation. It should be emphasized that the publication is not compendium and therefore does not comprehend the subject. Presented tools and methods are only part of available tools and models for territorial analysis.

The publication consists of five chapters, each devoted to a different tool or model. The publication was developed on the basis of the final reports, scientific annexes, as well as descriptions of case studies of projects ESPON (GEOSPECS, INTERCO, Temo, TerrEvi, TIPTAP, ATLAS 2014 ATLAS 2020).
