Project description: The aim of the project is to examine strategies and practices adopted by technical universities in different countries in response to global and regional crises.

Main responsibilities: Participation in the IMPRESS-U research project, in particular: Preparation of research instruments, including interview guides; Data collection (e.g. interviews with stakeholders); Compilation and organisation of statistical data; Review and analysis of regulations and strategic documents; Communication with international partners; Preparation of reports and academic publications; Participation in meetings of the national research team and the international consortium. Eligibility requirements: Fulfilment of the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571) and the NCN Regulations1, i.e.: PhD in field of social sciences awarded no earlier than 20142; Fluency in Polish and English, both spoken and written.
Additionally, we expect: A record of academic achievements, particularly publications; Interest in the project’s research topics; Experience with MAXQDA software or willingness to acquire such skills.
Upon employment, the University of Warsaw is expected to be the successful candidate’s primary place of work.
Evaluation criteria: Scientific output, particularly publications in reputable academic publishers or journals (50% of the final score); Other academic achievements, such as participation in research projects, scholarships, awards, and research experience gained domestically or abroad, as well as scientific workshops and training (40%); Competence relevant to the execution of project tasks, especially the functioning of higher education institutions and the science system (10%).
The position is not associated with activities involving the protection of minors.
