On June 1-2 the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz held a conference “City^2 – Integrated City Development”, in which participated our students, Olga Zuchora and Agnieszka Szypulska.

The paper of Olga Zuchora was devoted to the cooperation between citizens and the City Hall of Łódź in the process of revitalization of the Księży Młyn neighbourhood. The speech of Agnieszka Szypulska coped with the topic of the 20th century economic changes and their influence on city architecture with special focus on Warsaw.

Beside the presentations, the conference - organised by SPATIUM (Student Research Circle of Spatial Economy) - included two panel discussions with experts: theoreticians and practitioners in the field of revitalising cities – creating and implementing local and municipal revitalization programmes.
