PRESTIGIOUS AWARD FOR DOROTA CELIŃSKA-JANOWICZ

EUROREG's Assistant Professor - Dorota Celińska-Janowicz was awarded the Eugeniusz Romer Prize for the best Ph.D. theses written in the Socio-economic geography.

The Prize is awarded by The Committee on Geographical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The winning dissertation was a profound study of spatial aspects of Warsaw shopping malls. Dorota Celińska-Janowicz conducted the research financed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and obtained the Ph.D. title at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw in 2015.
